Additional Possibilities

With our Smart Color Chart stencils

The color chart stencils are highly versatile. Additional options include mixing several colors at once using different stencils. Stencil 1 is suitable for combining two or more colors. Stencil 2 is meant for mixing larger quantities and more complex blends. Stencil 3 helps you build your own color chart.

Let’s explore a few more creative (and non-exhaustive) ways to use the stencils for mixing and applying colors:

Stencil No. 1

Color Mixing

If you want to mix several colors, make sure to distribute them evenly in the openings of the same size.

Color Mixing

 50% blue, 30% yellow, 20% red  that is, a ratio of 5:3:2

Color Mixing

You can prepare mixtures with two or more colors at the same time such as 4 parts red to 1 part white, or alternatively,  6 parts white to 1 part yellow.

Color Mixing

To achieve this mix, use 6 parts red, 3 parts yellow, and 1 part green corresponding to the proportions of 60%, 30%, and 10%

Stencil No. 2

Color Mixing

This stencil is designed for mixing larger quantities of paint and for mixing several colors.

Color Mixing

60% red, 30% yellow, 10% green which corresponds to a ratio of 6:3:1.

Color Mixing

You can create several mixtures 75% ultramarine blue and 25% red, which corresponds to a 3:1 ratio and another one: 90% green, 10% white, which corresponds to a 9:1 ratio.

Stencil No. 3

Do not cover the entire surface of the opening, as the brush might slip underneath the stencil and the blue paint could seep under it.
